1. Ethical Diamond
The diamonds we use at Aurore are of excellent quality and perfectly cut. In terms of origin, however, they differ from traditional diamonds, because the diamonds we use at Aurore did not originate in the earth's crust millions of years ago, but are mined in a laboratory that mimics these natural conditions. Optically, qualitatively and in composition both stones are exactly the same, it is therefore impossible to see the difference between the two stones with the eye.
Despite a new source of origin, our diamonds therefore retain the same advantages - brilliance and hardness - as natural diamonds. With the lab diamond, however, we opt for a sustainable and future-proof alternative. In this way we can not only guarantee a conflict-free origin, but also less impact on the environment. So that not only we, but also the generations after us can continue to shine.
2. Recycled Gold
All our jewelry is made of 18 carat gold, a luxurious and warm material with a high wearing comfort. To reduce the demand for newly mined gold, we work with recycled gold. Gold is a fantastic and strong precious metal that can be recycled repeatedly without compromising on quality. The gold is thereby returned to its pure element and retains the same high quality and value as 'new' gold. By using this naturally renewable resource, we reduce the negative effects such as depletion of the earth and ethical abuses in the gold mines.
3. Fair prices
We buy the gold and diamonds that we use for our jewelery as close to the 'source' as possible. As a result, not only is the origin more transparent, but the costs are also lower. In addition, lab-grown diamonds themselves also offer a significant price advantage compared to natural diamonds.
